A lot of people have requested pictures of our new house so I finally took a break from unpacking, cleaning, and socializing yesterday to take some. I hope you enjoy this break in our regularly scheduled programming to see a little peak into what has been a huge aspect of my life lately.
The basketball hoop came with the house.
The little window next to the back door is an old milk delivery system.
Most of the inside of the house is still complete chaos, but I took a couple pictures of it for now. We have a beautiful four season front porch that came with the curtains.
Of course one of the areas of the house that I had to create some order in right away was the kitchen. I haven't even used the stove yet, but I already used the food processor to make hummus for a picnic.
Lots of people have been asking me specifically about Angel, which is very sweet. All things considered, she's adjusting to the new house pretty well. She loves hanging out in the basement. Of course she found some of the plastic bags that came with our new TV. Why sit on the floor alone when you can sit with a bag?
I finished my July EBW Challenge piece before we moved and am finally listing it this week. Stay tuned!
Your house is very quickly becoming a home :) It looks great! And I'm glad to hear Angel is doing so well :)
ReplyDeleteYou have a very nice home Rose! I'm so glad Angel is doing well! She's going to love running all over and especially watching the Birdie Network from all those windows!
ReplyDeleteLOL to Sharla ... love the "Birdie Network".
ReplyDeleteYour home is absolutely adorable Rose! How exciting for you. There is nothing like an older, northern house. All of the character...
Nice cabinets and flooring! Also, always a plus to come with a basketball hoop :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cool house!
ReplyDeleteOf course, if Angel decides it is not up to her standards, you will have to move.
Your house is totally cute, I just love that sunroom! What is it with some cats and plastic bags? My cat has a thing about licking them! Drives me insane!
ReplyDeleteYour house is beautiful. I love the style and character of it.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a cute new place! you've got your work cut out for you though, that's for sure! Good luck getting it all done and unpacking:)
ReplyDeleteAngel looks right at home. The windows in that room are great. Can't wait to see what you do.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments everyone!
ReplyDeleteSharla, we're still waiting for Angel to discover that she can lay in the sun and watch the birds from the first floor.
Re, yep, our house definitely has a lot of character.
Becky, for sure!
Mandy, haha, I don't know. A lot of cats have a thing for plastic.
Thanks Nancy!
I'll continue to post updates about everything in our house.
