Scavenger Hunt and I Heart Macro on Monday (7/9/12)

Welcome to another edition of the photo Scavenger Hunt and I Heart Macro! I've also included my weekly update about my monthly photo challenge progress. Enjoy!

1) Patriotic
This is the first time I'd ever attempted photographing fireworks.  I know that you'll see a lot of fireworks shots for the prompt this week that are way cooler, but I'm pretty proud of this.

I took a few other pictures before the fireworks started.

2) View From Above
Iced coffee.  Don't you love all of those bubbles?

I'm also using this as my photo for I Heart Macro this week.

3) Mosaic
I'm wrapping up my Father's Day flower shoot here with a mosaic. If you still haven't seen enough of my flower shots yet, you can check out a few more of them in my How to Photograph Flowers: Point and Shoot Macro Photography article.

4) Something Tiny
We spied this little guy while having dinner with some friends in their backyard last weekend.

5) Vibrant
I'm releasing three new shell bracelet and earring sets for the open house this coming weekend.  I'm also bringing back the blue and adding coordinating earrings for the first time.

Check out Ashley's blog to see what other people submitted for the themes this week.

The Monthly Photo Challenge Update:
I started my July Photo a Day Board this week.  Check it out!

People get upset when Angel isn't in this post.  You're in luck this week because I took a new picture of her for the photo a day challenge.
This was for the prompt "on the floor."  Angel is almost always hanging out on the floor.

  4. Your pictures are beautiful! I especially love the iced coffee bubbles. I tried to take a picture of two, huge, woodpeckers outside my door this morning. I got a blurry mess of a photo. I was too afraid they would fly away if I opened the door. Photos taken through screened windows do not look very good. I am so disappointed. I didn't know woodpeckers were so huge. They were noisy too!
