1) Shadow
One of Angel's new favorite spots in the basement is in the shadows under these tables. When I don't have craft shows, I let Jake leave them up for his gaming.
2) Keys
We got these skeleton keys earlier this year for our French doors, which had been left in the locked position when they were taken down.
I'm also using this as my shot for I Heart Macro.
3) Smile
I went back into my archives for this one. This is Jake and one of our friends watching Vegetable Justice at the 2011 Renaissance Fair. They could have watched this all day.
4) Unedited
Remember the card tables? I may or may not have taken over a large portion of them for craft projects the past couple weeks. I do my best to keep my craft projects in a couple areas of the house, but sometimes I have a major fail. I needed space to spread out and work on some painting projects, including the advent calendar work. I also have a whole bunch of card projects in the works that have expanded beyond my little paper crafting area. This is unedited in the sense that yes, it is a straight out of the camera shot, but it's also unedited in that I didn't try to cover up my craft explosion.
However, Jake wanted the table for gaming again over the weekend, which motivated me to finally get this project done and out of that space.
5) Spice
I did some baking this past week for the first time in a few weeks.
Check out Ashley's blog to see what other people submitted for the themes this week.
I have to say, even your craft explosion is pretty tidy! My craft explosions are always more like actual debris. Sometimes things end up on the floor.
ReplyDeleteIs that an antique built-in I see in your house? If so, it's gorgeous.
Nothing is as motivating as a forced move! Glad you got it done- the collage looks great!
ReplyDeleteI think you are very neat and organized. Just my two cents and I love your collage. That rocks. You also know that I'm thrilled when Angel is in your posts.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day. Scritches to Angel. :)
Love seeing your space! I knew it would be organized! Just like you.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of the keys. And - your craft explosion is at least contained. My explosions are all over the place!

Skeleton keys are always so cool!
ReplyDeleteYour new photo piece turned out great...I just love flower photos!
PS...Don't feel bad, I think my whole house looks this way! I'm taking over!
That is the neatest craft explosion I've seen! I like how your flower project turned out! Angel is such a good kitty to stay under the table instead of on it. Mine sure don't. *sign*
ReplyDeleteMy kitties sit on the table too, especially when there are papers or beads on it. Yours is pretty neat, I agree.
ReplyDeleteAs hard as I try my craft projects always seem to end up all over the house. Drives my husband crazy :)
ReplyDeletehaha - my explosion is bigger than yours... oi! Too cute that Angel has a shade puddle ;-)
ReplyDeleteDear Rose, I love a good reason to get everything done. You always feel better when you see the end result. I love the collage. It was a good weekend for baking.
ReplyDeleteBlessings dearest. Catherine xo
Hilarious name: Vegetable Justic! And the shot of the French door keys is lovely. :)
ReplyDeleteNice to see Jake enjoying the fair. And your unedited looks like most of my edited. I used to be so neat - don't know happened. I guess I got art! {:-D
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Looks like Jake is having some fun! I love going to local affairs!
ReplyDeleteSo fun! Love these. Thanks for introducing me to this fun meme :)
