Scavenger Hunt and I Heart Macro on Monday (10/8/12)

Welcome to another edition of the photo Scavenger Hunt and I Heart Macro!

1) Shadow
One of Angel's new favorite spots in the basement is in the shadows under these tables. When I don't have craft shows, I let Jake leave them up for his gaming.

2) Keys
We got these skeleton keys earlier this year for our French doors, which had been left in the locked position when they were taken down.

I'm also using this as my shot for I Heart Macro.

3) Smile
I went back into my archives for this one. This is Jake and one of our friends watching Vegetable Justice at the 2011 Renaissance Fair. They could have watched this all day.

4) Unedited
Remember the card tables? I may or may not have taken over a large portion of them for craft projects the past couple weeks. I do my best to keep my craft projects in a couple areas of the house, but sometimes I have a major fail. I needed space to spread out and work on some painting projects, including the advent calendar work. I also have a whole bunch of card projects in the works that have expanded beyond my little paper crafting area. This is unedited in the sense that yes, it is a straight out of the camera shot, but it's also unedited in that I didn't try to cover up my craft explosion.

However, Jake wanted the table for gaming again over the weekend, which motivated me to finally get this project done and out of that space.

5) Spice
I did some baking this past week for the first time in a few weeks.

Check out Ashley's blog to see what other people submitted for the themes this week.

  1. I have to say, even your craft explosion is pretty tidy! My craft explosions are always more like actual debris. Sometimes things end up on the floor.

Is that an antique built-in I see in your house? If so, it's gorgeous.

Have a terrific day. Scritches to Angel. :)

  8. That is the neatest craft explosion I've seen! I like how your flower project turned out! Angel is such a good kitty to stay under the table instead of on it. Mine sure don't. *sign*

  9. My kitties sit on the table too, especially when there are papers or beads on it. Yours is pretty neat, I agree.
