The first sneak peak is a piece that I've actually been working on since the end of the summer. The base went pretty quickly, but I've been taking my time with the fringe. I work a couple more rows rows in between pieces or whenever I have a few minutes and think to pick it up. I have more fun with it this way because it never gets tedious.
The second sneak peak is the mix for my newest leafy series piece, which I started tonight.
I look forward to seeing this piece when it's finished--I've never seen beads used in such a dense design and I think it will look amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I created something similar in the spring for an EBW Challenge: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=21778398 . The base and fringe beads were bigger on that piece, though, so it went a little faster. It's taken me this long to gear up for another fringed undertaking!
ReplyDeleteomg that is amazing! I would go crazy just trying to find the little holes to string it.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I did go a little crazy with the challenge piece because I was finishing it under a deadline. This current piece hasn't made me quite so crazy because it isn't the only thing I'm working on right now.
ReplyDeleteOh I can't wait to see the fringe bracelet done, I'm sure it's going to look awesome.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope so!
ReplyDeleteWow -- that is SO much work!!! I love the colors in your sneak peak!! Gonna be awesome!!
ReplyDeleteHaha yeah, I don't really like thinking about exactly how many hours go into a piece like my fringed one. It is worth it, but yeah...LOTS of hours. I'm excited about the red/orange mix. I should have that piece finished by this time next week. :)
