Saturday Link List

Welcome to this week's edition of my link list.  Enjoy!

Make for Business is dedicated to helping people run successful craft businesses.  They have new posts on the front page and then archived articles divided into categories so you can find exactly what you're looking for.

I decided to include this link because gardening is definitely a DIY skill.  As a new homeowner, it is actually one that I have not attempted so this is definitely stored in my personal file for next summer when I get more serious about that.  This site has about everything that you could ever want to know about gardening and plants in general.

If you're looking for something besides Vistaprint for your business cards, flyers, etc., this is a good resource.  I actually got my latest set from Overnight Prints through a blog giveaway a while back, but UPrinting has better prices.  One of my sister-in-laws runs a dance studio and uses it for her promotional materials and has been pleased.

This is a very handy jewelry skill to know for many different kinds of jewelry making.  Even for people like me who don't use a lot of wire, it's helpful to know this technique.  You never know when you may want to design some simple wire earrings to coordinate with a more intricate bracelet or necklace or when you may want to make a few of your own charms.

I don't even remember how I came across this recipe, but I love recipes like this that use a lot of ingredients that you already have at home and aren't terribly time consuming.  These are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or alongside a main dish for dinner.

Did you use one of the resources, tutorials, or recipes from my link list?  Leave me a link in the comments or send me an e-mail (katzemusik@hotmail.com) with your photos and stories.  I would love to post them here!

  2. If we had heavy cream I'd be making those biscuits right now! I do a pretty good wrapped loop if I say so myself! :)
