I got one custom order while I was at the Arts Festival. A lady who visited my booth on Saturday came back on Sunday with a button necklace. She used to have a matching bracelet and wanted a new one (in the style of my button charm bracelets, she didn't like the style of her old one) and a pair of matching earrings. This is what I came up with for her.
I had never done a button charm bracelet in neutral shades before.
This is the second pair of button dangle earrings that I've made now. I have two more laying out on my button tray, waiting to be glued right now.
The bracelet and earrings will be on their way tomorrow!
I had a raffle at the Arts Festival. I drew my winners last night and contacted them today. There are 3 winners who each get their choice of a pair of peyote triangle earrings or a peyote triangle pendant. I heard back from one tonight who would like a pair of green striped peyote triangle earrings. I was planning on restocking these in my Etsy shop at some point anyway so I'll be making a couple pairs this week.
Those are great! The earrings really rock!
ReplyDeleteOh so cute! love the earring cards :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great that she came back for you to transform something she had? And I like those cards!!
ReplyDeleteWell done then!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! You have to give Edi credit for the awesome earring cards. :)
ReplyDeleteThe bracelet and earrings turned out wonderful - she's going to love them!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope so!
ReplyDeleteLove the neutral colors in that braclet and earrings. How cool that you got a custom order from yours show.
ReplyDeleteThanks Paige! I have made black and white button charm bracelets before but never one with brown shades like this. I may try it again, though!
ReplyDeletethink the button bracelet looks great! And I'm sure it would feel great against your wrist, and I'm not even a big bracelet wearer...
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb! I have a red one in my personal collection, and I think that it's pretty comfortable. The old one that the lady had was a wire wrapped one that wasn't made very carefully so it caught on everything. Apparently it ruined the lining of one of her coats. :( So she wanted something that wouldn't do that. I think that this design will work well for her.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great :)
ReplyDeletelove the giveaway idea during a show :)
Thanks Theresa! :) The giveaway was one of many great ideas that I got from other people's advice on the Etsy forums or on blogs about craft fairs.
